Let's play catch up

Wyatt is 3 and McKinley is almost 18 months. Life is going at full speed and we are trying to soak up every minute. MDO and Pre-School are in full swing and we are all trying to get used to me working more. August started out a little rough, everyone being sick, school starting, new routines.... it was pure craziness! September is now gone, and October is upon us and we are FINALLY starting to feel better. Last week we did have to go back to the doctor's office and what do we have..... Wyatt with another ear infection/blood work to test for allergies/and a shot! McKinley is over her last ear infection- thank goodness because she has had 3 in the last 2 months/and a shot. We celebrated the end of the doctors appointment with pancakes at ihop! Hoping to have his allergy test results by Monday! Friday, I took off work to take the kids to a playdate at the park and then we took them to a movie. Friday ended with dinner at Sheehans and scrapbook night at the church. The perfect

2nd Half Marathon- Nashville, TN

I just finished my second half marathon! I can't begin to describe the feeling I get when I cross that finish line! It's simply amazing! This time it felt even more amazing because with being sick, not training and having only run a max of 6 miles since my last half, it was an amazing since of accomplishment for me. Knowing that I could do it even though I started the day not thinking that I could. I ran the first 7 miles and then my body just couldn't do it anymore. I walked the rest, running a little here and there to make up time. I knew that as long as I stayed at 18 minute miles, I would be just fine. My Aunt found me 12.89 and helped me cross that finish line, 13.1! Yes, I did it again. 5 days later and my legs still hurt! My knees ache when I go up the stairs and it hurts to sit, however I'm ready to get out there and do it again. My training begins soon because on December 8th, I will hopefully be pushing myself to yet another 13.1 finish line.

Bronchitis

Yes, Todd and I have Bronchitis. I have been coughing for about 3 weeks and finally decided it was time to go to the doctor. I feel like my family has been sick for the past month! I am SO READY to feel better, for all of us to feel better. The kids have been coughing too, it started in Montana and then continued this week. So I thought it wise to go to back to their doctor. Turns out Wyatt has bad allergies (we think) and McKinley is about to have her third ear infection in 4 weeks! GREAT! We are going on a third antibiotic for McKinley and Wyatt is going to be tested for allergies in two weeks. So in the meantime, we have to deal with runny noses and McKinley also has a watery eyes. Yuck, but part of life. I just hate that they feel bad. The GOOD NEWS..... They are both still sleeping in until 7 or later each morning. One morning they slept until 7:45am! Of course, that was the morning I had to be ready and out the door by 7:30. The BAD NEWS..... I was supposed to be runnin
