Thankful that tomorrows a new day!

I'm 99% sure that's out there someone there is a post on Facebook that reads something like this..... Dear lady at Fatz cafe, You're children might be cute but seeing them act crazy at Chop house and out of control at the mall was enough for one day! Next time, try cooking dinner for your family! I promise it's out there! My kids were crazy today! They left me on the verge of tears more than once this weekend. It wasn't just them- I think having a cold, a HORRIBLE cough, and feeling very stressed about the upcoming week all played a huge part! More about the Crazy weekend tomorrow but I'm going to bed now! - Posted using BlogPress from my iPhone

Pool Party!

Image
For Wyatt's third birthday we decided to have a pool party! He wanted a batman party but we had already started planning this one and I figured this would probably be the last year he let me pick the party theme! I need to give all the credit to my mom! We found tons of ideas on pinterest but she put them all together! She was a huge help and made this party a huge success! It felt a little crazy at times, I mean what birthday party isn't. When you have 10 kids under the age of 3 and a cranky 16 month old, there is bound to be some crying, screaming, laughing, fun and opened birthday gifts before we even get all the guest in the door!  "It's my party....." was definitely what Wyatt was living by! It turned out to be a great day! Thank you everyone for coming out to celebrate Wyatt's 3rd birthday. Jelly Fish over the kids table  Each guest got their own beach bag with their name, a towel,  bubbles, a water gun, a ball and goggles Add caption

Back to Grace we go

School has started back!!! Love this time of year! It means fall, routines, over sized backpacks on top of a crisp new shirt, making lunches, and really good naps! It really is the best. This year McKinley got to join in on all the back to school fun. Thanks to Mimi and Papa she has a cute little vera bradley backpack and lunch box, princess cold pack, and a few new items hanging in her closet waiting for school days! THANK YOU MIMI AND PAPA! Does anyone want to guess what kind of backpack Wyatt got? If you guessed batman, you would be correct! Lunch box, backpack and ice pack are all batman! This kids loves batman. Wyatt is in 3K this year. It seems a little more structured that last year and there are more kids in  his class. He was a little hesitate to go in at first but after I pointing out some of his friends, he left my side and started playing. I only thought about crying when he wouldn't let go of me and panic struck his face. He clung to me and I could feel the tears sta

Still Raining over here

Yup! If my week is anything my Monday, it's going to be a long one!! *Rough weekend- Wyatt still complaining about his teeth hurting and still having troubles with his ears. McKinley still fussy and not herself. *Sunday night was tough for Wyatt- he was in A LOT of pain! Mortin wasn't helping and nothing we did made him feel better. He wouldn't eat or drink much and I just felt bad for him. He had a hard time going to sleep, but finally after giving him some teething tablets at 11:45 he went to sleep until 6 am. *Cranky and in lots of pain- that's the little boy that came into our room at 6am! Somehow I managed to get ready and keep him happy. McKinley didn't stay asleep for long, she was up at 6:45. At least she was happy. *Kristin arrived 8 and I headed off to my doctor appointment. Thank goodness is was a quick one. I called Wyatt's doctor on the way and told them how he had been feeling. Of course, they wanted to see him! *Arrive at house and pick

It's Rough (at least for right now)

I am counting down the minutes until Kristin arrives and Todd and I head to Sheehans! An early date night for us! It's Thursday, the week isn't over yet and it's been one heck of a week. I'm pretty sure that I only survived it thanks to my parents and having Todd home with us on Wednesday. Let me start at the beginning, actually let's just go back to last week because that was a rough one too! Last Sunday night Todd had to go to Atlanta for some training and instead of being alone at home, I packed up the kids and went to stay at my parents. Wyatt and McKinley both think that Mimi and Papa's house is the greatest place on this earth. Pancakes cut into shapes with powder sugar to start the day, hanging out in the pool until our fingers are wrinkled and ending the day with a golf cart ride and Popsicles on the front porch... what little kid wouldn't love this! They didn't like it as much with me there! By Wednesday, Wyatt was falling to pieces and not
