Day 10 & 11


Day 10 Mykonos, Greece
A little rain didn’t keep us away from this beautiful village. We did sleep in and took out time getting off the boat. We had lunch on the boat with Nancy and Ken and then headed out. Todd and I were only going to stay for about an hour but we ended up staying close to 3 hours. At first all you see are the same little shops all selling the same things, a few restaurants but not to much to make you want to stay. I heard the beaches on Mykonos were stunning but because of the rain and cold weather we couldn’t experience those. We kept winding down the streets and kept finding the CUTEST little stores and restaurants. It was the cutest place.

Day 11 Day at Sea
I’m gonna be honest, I was so thrilled when I woke up to a cold and cloudy day. I spend my ENTIRE DAY in bed, enjoying room service and just resting. I got up to go to a brief fitness seminar thing, then took another late afternoon nap and then got ready for out formal night and dinner with the hotel director on the ship. Todd did a 5-hour behind the scenes tour of the boat and loved learning all he could about how the ship operates. With all the rest I was able to make it to the show that night, and it was amazing. We played a little blackjack and then called it a night. It was a wonderfully relaxing day.

As I sit here pumping in bed at 3:30 in the morning, I wonder how I got my little one to sleep all night long in his crib! I'm watching wiggle and move on the baby monitor and thank God that he can now sleep all night with no help! We all need friends

I remember almost a year ago when a good friend of mine invited me to a lunch group, Friday's at noon. At that time in my life I needed it! I needed to get out and meet new friends, other ladies with children about the same age, going through the same thing. This was a life saver for me. I am not a very outgoing person and it's hard to make friends when you don't have a full time job. Long story made short.... I made some GREAT friends in that group. As all good things to do though, things changed, people moved on and life became a little crazy for all of us. So the lunch group is starting up again and even though some people have left, we have some new faces to get to know! Wednesday a couple of us went out for a ladies night out and it was great! Two new people for me to get to know and I feel like I have made two new life long friends. First trip to the ER

Yesterday was a day of firsts! First time to try to potty training and first trip to the ER. Here is how we ended up there..... He woke up feeling good and we had a nice start to potty training! He didn't eat a lot of breakfast but some days he does and others he doesn't so I didn't think much about it. When lunch time rolled around he still didn't eat. He then became very cranky and uninterested in the potty thing so I let my dad take him up for his nap. He normally goes down pretty easy but today he didn't. He said that his tummy hurt and couldn't get comfortable. He finally fell asleep but didn't stay asleep long. He moved all around and cried out a couple times then finally woke up. He was NOT himself. He cried and wanted to be held. Then all of a sudden he would be fine. Then minutes later he would say his tummy hurt, then drop to his knees and cry and move around trying to get comfortable. It was so sad. My parents wanted him to spend the night si...
