L. Morgan Hall

Oh what a week! What a week and two days actually! Its amazing to me how one minute life can be going just perfect. Wyatt sound asleep for afternoon nap, Todd loading the dishwasher, me walking out the door to run a couple of errands alone and in a flash, with just one phone call your whole world can miraculously be turned upside down. My father-in-law passed away very unexpected on January, 23.2010. Within an hour we had a family friend with watching Wyatt, our bags packed and we were in the car on the way to Kiawah Island. Its amazing how life just changes. I am not going to go into details, because I don't wan to relive that time. The past week was really just a whirl wind of emotions and reliving them right now is not in the cards. What I will say is that Morgan Hall was a wonderful man. We will miss him.

KIAWAH ISLAND, S.C. - Entered into eternal rest on the afternoon of January 23, 2010, L. Morgan Hall, III, husband of Nancy Chalker Hall, who resides on Kiawah Island, SC. The relatives and friends of Mr. and Mrs. L. Morgan Hall, III are invited to attend the funeral service at Church of Our Saviour, Johns Island, SC, Tuesday, January 26, 2010, at one o'clock. Burial will follow in the churchyard. The family will receive friends at J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., West Ashley Chapel, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway, Charleston, SC, Monday between five and seven o'clock. Mr. Hall was born September 18, 1941 in Fort Worth, Texas, a son of the late Lester Morgan Hall, Jr. and the late Glenna Anderson Hall. He was Chairman Emeritus and Founder of International Management Services Company (IMSCO). Morgan received his B.S. from the University of Tennessee and M.B.A. from the University of Hawaii. During the Vietnam Era, he served as a Captain in the U.S. Air Force. He was a member of the Kiawah Island Club, Westlake Country Club in Augusta, Mensa, and an avid golfer. Morgan moved to Augusta, GA in 1981 and remained there until he retired to Kiawah Island, SC with his wife, Nancy, in 2003. Shortly after completing his military service, he held positions in several companies before he founded his own company, Trans Fleet Enterprises, Inc. (T.F.E.) in 1975, from his home office in Columbia, MO. As the company was growing, the business concept was growing all over America such that state and local governments entered the picture to regulate this type of business. Morgan became a crusader in helping the industry gain credibility. He served on many committees, participated in many hearings at the state and national level and ultimately in the mid 80's became the president of the National Staff Leasing Association, the national trade association for this industry. Morgan moved the executive office of the company to Augusta, GA in 1980 where it still exists today. Morgan met his beloved wife Nancy in Augusta in 1982. They married in 1985 and ran the business together. Morgan remained active in the company until December 2000, when he officially retired. He provided a company culture built on a foundation of commitment for each other, a positive work environment for over 3,000 employees and a philosophy of always exceeding our customers' expectations. He is survived by his loving wife of 24 years of Kiawah Island; a son, Todd A. Barnes and wife, Nicole, of Augusta, GA; a brother, David Hall of Dallas, TX; a grandson, Wyatt W. Barnes of Augusta, GA; and a nephew, Morgan Hunter Hall of Charleston, SC. He was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Louise Hall.
