Oh what a week! What a week and two days actually! Its amazing to me how one minute life can be going just perfect. Wyatt sound asleep for afternoon nap, Todd loading the dishwasher, me walking out the door to run a couple of errands alone and in a flash, with just one phone call your whole world can miraculously be turned upside down. My father-in-law passed away very unexpected on January, 23.2010. Within an hour we had a family friend with watching Wyatt, our bags packed and we were in the car on the way to Kiawah Island. Its amazing how life just changes. I am not going to go into details, because I don't wan to relive that time. The past week was really just a whirl wind of emotions and reliving them right now is not in the cards. What I will say is that Morgan Hall was a wonderful man. We will miss him. KIAWAH ISLAND, S.C. - Entered into eternal rest on the afternoon of January 23, 2010, L. Morgan Hall, III, husband of Nancy Chalker Hall, who resides on Kiawah Island, SC. The...
Right after Wyatt was born we said we wanted more children. We just knew that we wanted to do this all over again and have more kids. We weren’t set on a number, before Wyatt I said four and Todd said one or two. We also knew that we wanted them close together. We didn’t say how close together but when Wyatt was about 8 months old, I was ready! I think that you will face challenges with having them close or having them far apart. Sure I have two in diapers, two that are totally dependent on me, when I go out I have two that need to be in a stroller or shopping cart, basically all that I need to say is I have two under two! My toddler is in the throws of the terrible twos and my newborn, well she brought with her all the things that newborns do. It’s tough. That being said I wouldn’t change it for anything. No, I wo...
Our Saturdays are normally filled with laid back family fun! I love them because of a few reasons: 1. Todd is home all day with us! 2. I don't have to rush to get ready before both kids get up! I can shower and take my time. 3. 75% of the time we all go to breakfast, if not all of us, Wyatt and daddy go 4. We run errands and get things done. So much can get done when daddy is home to help with kiddos. 5. Naps can be had by all! (we don't often do this but it is nice for days that we really need it!) Yesterday though, there must have been a full moon or something because we were ALL off! Don't tell Todd, but I'm even admitting to being in a mood for part of the day. The morning went well but things took a turn for the worse when we bought Wyatt's new car seat and tried to install them at the store. McKinley was having an off day, teething and wouldn't eat, she didn't have a great nap, and was screaming her head off and Wyatt was getting whining and tired. We ...
