Jean Leggings? YES PLEASE

So because Augusta has ZERO good maternity stores, we flew to Charlotte on Friday to do a little retail therapy for this growing mama! When I was pregnant with Wyatt, I discovered Destination Maternity on Madison Avenue in NYC and then found out how great GAP's maternity line was. Sure I can order stuff online, but I hate having to send it back when it doesn't fit! I love going through the store and seeing everything and trying everything on! That can be a workout though! Trying to pull up jeans with no zipper or buttons!

So we went to the Gap first and found some great deals but nothing WONDERFUL! I was still doubting maternity jeans and if I would ever get used to them. Last go round, I wore dresses and skirts! Much better than jeans. So after getting completely worn out we took a lunch break at one of my very favorite places to eat....MAGGIANOS! I love it! We walked around another mall and let Wyatt take a snooze in the stroller then loaded him up again and headed to destination maternity. We left Wyatt with the men and my mom and I enjoyed looking at and trying on things in peace. What I found at this store I will LIVE IN!!! The sales lady called them JEGGINGS? Jean leggings! The price tag on them was not friendly but I took the plunge in hopes that I would fall in love with them and guess what, you may never get me out of these!!! Best Pants I have EVER in my entire life owed. They are so comfortable and cute!!! But the first is more important than the second. So I am in love with my new pants!

We all need friends

I remember almost a year ago when a good friend of mine invited me to a lunch group, Friday's at noon. At that time in my life I needed it! I needed to get out and meet new friends, other ladies with children about the same age, going through the same thing. This was a life saver for me. I am not a very outgoing person and it's hard to make friends when you don't have a full time job. Long story made short.... I made some GREAT friends in that group. As all good things to do though, things changed, people moved on and life became a little crazy for all of us. So the lunch group is starting up again and even though some people have left, we have some new faces to get to know! Wednesday a couple of us went out for a ladies night out and it was great! Two new people for me to get to know and I feel like I have made two new life long friends. First trip to the ER

Yesterday was a day of firsts! First time to try to potty training and first trip to the ER. Here is how we ended up there..... He woke up feeling good and we had a nice start to potty training! He didn't eat a lot of breakfast but some days he does and others he doesn't so I didn't think much about it. When lunch time rolled around he still didn't eat. He then became very cranky and uninterested in the potty thing so I let my dad take him up for his nap. He normally goes down pretty easy but today he didn't. He said that his tummy hurt and couldn't get comfortable. He finally fell asleep but didn't stay asleep long. He moved all around and cried out a couple times then finally woke up. He was NOT himself. He cried and wanted to be held. Then all of a sudden he would be fine.
