Sweet little moments



A pool, a water hose (put into place by my loving husband), 10 minutes to fill the pool, bathing suite change for mom, strip down for baby and what do you get......... SWEET LITTLE MOMENTS!!!

A small pool on our back deck provided 30 minutes of fun for Wyatt. He didn't need any toys, he just needed water. I sat beside him snapping some cute pictures of him playing and then Kenzie trying to get in on the action. He loved it!!! I decided to join him and this is when our sweet little moments happened. He was trying to let go of the side of the pool and stand up and wave his hands and dance. He was good but a couple of times he almost went over, and one time he successfully did:(. I'm just not that fast (and I was sitting RIGHT in front of him). After the little spill I climbed into the pool (a little cold for me) and when he thought he was about to fall he would reach for me and let me hold him up. Then he put his little head against mine and looked into my eyes and gave me a BIG kiss (open mouth, its a new thing for him). Then he gave me two BIG hugs and went his own way. Then he wanted to climb all over me and get out. They were my sweet little moments!!! I love him so much!!

We all need friends

I remember almost a year ago when a good friend of mine invited me to a lunch group, Friday's at noon. At that time in my life I needed it! I needed to get out and meet new friends, other ladies with children about the same age, going through the same thing. This was a life saver for me. I am not a very outgoing person and it's hard to make friends when you don't have a full time job. Long story made short.... I made some GREAT friends in that group. As all good things to do though, things changed, people moved on and life became a little crazy for all of us. So the lunch group is starting up again and even though some people have left, we have some new faces to get to know! Wednesday a couple of us went out for a ladies night out and it was great! Two new people for me to get to know and I feel like I have made two new life long friends. First trip to the ER

Yesterday was a day of firsts! First time to try to potty training and first trip to the ER. Here is how we ended up there..... He woke up feeling good and we had a nice start to potty training! He didn't eat a lot of breakfast but some days he does and others he doesn't so I didn't think much about it. When lunch time rolled around he still didn't eat. He then became very cranky and uninterested in the potty thing so I let my dad take him up for his nap. He normally goes down pretty easy but today he didn't. He said that his tummy hurt and couldn't get comfortable. He finally fell asleep but didn't stay asleep long. He moved all around and cried out a couple times then finally woke up. He was NOT himself. He cried and wanted to be held. Then all of a sudden he would be fine.
