MDO here we come!!

I love being a stay at home mom! I love being with him, playing with him, taking him to lunch and running errands with him. I love our time together!! I also love the concept of mothers day out and tomorrow Wyatt is going to try it!!! I think that every mom needs a couple hours a week to be by herself and do all the run around errands without having to drag a child in and out of the car seat and into stores in 100 degree weather. I also work from home, so its nice to be able to catch up on work without having to wait until nap time or worry that my work will be interrupted by a screaming baby.

Am I nervous? Am I sad? Not right now but maybe ask me tomorrow! He has gone to the church nursery, he has had different babysitters, he has stayed for a week at my parents, a week at Todd's mom's house, a night here and a night there. So I am okay with all that, this shouldn't be any different right? Wish me luck!!!

We all need friends

I remember almost a year ago when a good friend of mine invited me to a lunch group, Friday's at noon. At that time in my life I needed it! I needed to get out and meet new friends, other ladies with children about the same age, going through the same thing. This was a life saver for me. I am not a very outgoing person and it's hard to make friends when you don't have a full time job. Long story made short.... I made some GREAT friends in that group. As all good things to do though, things changed, people moved on and life became a little crazy for all of us. So the lunch group is starting up again and even though some people have left, we have some new faces to get to know! Wednesday a couple of us went out for a ladies night out and it was great! First trip to the ER

Yesterday was a day of firsts! First time to try to potty training and first trip to the ER. Here is how we ended up there..... He woke up feeling good and we had a nice start to potty training! He didn't eat a lot of breakfast but some days he does and others he doesn't so I didn't think much about it. When lunch time rolled around he still didn't eat. He then became very cranky and uninterested in the potty thing so I let my dad take him up for his nap. He normally goes down pretty easy but today he didn't. He said that his tummy hurt and couldn't get comfortable. He finally fell asleep but didn't stay asleep long. He moved all around and cried out a couple times then finally woke up. He was NOT himself. He cried and wanted to be held. Then all of a sudden he would be fine.
