Still Raining over here
Yup! If my week is anything my Monday, it's going to be a long one!!
*Rough weekend- Wyatt still complaining about his teeth hurting and still having troubles with his ears. McKinley still fussy and not herself.
*Sunday night was tough for Wyatt- he was in A LOT of pain! Mortin wasn't helping and nothing we did made him feel better. He wouldn't eat or drink much and I just felt bad for him. He had a hard time going to sleep, but finally after giving him some teething tablets at 11:45 he went to sleep until 6 am.
*Cranky and in lots of pain- that's the little boy that came into our room at 6am! Somehow I managed to get ready and keep him happy. McKinley didn't stay asleep for long, she was up at 6:45. At least she was happy.
*Kristin arrived 8 and I headed off to my doctor appointment. Thank goodness is was a quick one. I called Wyatt's doctor on the way and told them how he had been feeling. Of course, they wanted to see him!
*Arrive at house and pick up very sad looking little boy. Make it to our appointment and learn that his ear are cleared up and look great and it's not his teeth that are bothering him, but its his throat! Poor thing has huge ulcers on his throat. No wonder he screamed when I gave him cold milk this morning. "This will go away on it's own and it's very painful!" oh, thanks alot! She did tell me we could give him a higher dose of motrin and called in a mixture of maalox and benadryle. Worth a shot!
*Made it to target to pick up prescription. He was so sad and clingy!!! The pharmacist told me to have him swish and spit. How are we going to get him to do that? The doctor said to swallow, so what do we do! Well we tried having him spit, that didn't work. He ended up swallowing it!
*Head to the "office" and realize that we need more training manuals. GREAT! Another thing to add to my list. Dad tells me he needs me to pick up someone and take them home before dropping Wyatt off with Kristin. And the stress is building along with my list of things to get done.
*Pick up family friend, drop Wyatt off with Kristin- (Heartbreaking to leave kiddos not feeling well!), take family friend home, go pick up order at Kinkos and get more employee forms printed and put together.
*Go back to "office" and get some of my list items crossed off-not many! 2 hours goes by pretty fast and it was time to relieve Kristin.
*3 pm and both kids are awake. I knew it would be a long day! I was so thankful Mimi was there to make it alittle less painful!
*3:30-I finally eat lunch. Comforting my sick baby, played with McKinley, made dinner, answered a few work emails, Aunt JenJen dropped by to bring us a few goodies, dinner was eaten by two of us and then Papa came over for a minute!
*By 6 it was just me and the kiddos and I was ready to send them to bed. By 6:45 M was in bed, Wyatt was cuddled in my lap watching disney Jr. and I was working on payroll! 7:30 I was beyond thrilled daddy was home and taking Wyatt to bed!
*It's 8 and I have finished payroll, started on the training for tomorrow and yes, I'm blogging! Because I do want to remember these moments!
Is it Friday yet?
