Pool Party!




For Wyatt's third birthday we decided to have a pool party! He wanted a batman party but we had already started planning this one and I figured this would probably be the last year he let me pick the party theme! I need to give all the credit to my mom! We found tons of ideas on pinterest but she put them all together! She was a huge help and made this party a huge success! It felt a little crazy at times, I mean what birthday party isn't. When you have 10 kids under the age of 3 and a cranky 16 month old, there is bound to be some crying, screaming, laughing, fun and opened birthday gifts before we even get all the guest in the door! 

"It's my party....." was definitely what Wyatt was living by! It turned out to be a great day! Thank you everyone for coming out to celebrate Wyatt's 3rd birthday.

We all need friends

I remember almost a year ago when a good friend of mine invited me to a lunch group, Friday's at noon. At that time in my life I needed it! I needed to get out and meet new friends, other ladies with children about the same age, going through the same thing. This was a life saver for me. I am not a very outgoing person and it's hard to make friends when you don't have a full time job. Long story made short.... I made some GREAT friends in that group. As all good things to do though, things changed, people moved on and life became a little crazy for all of us. So the lunch group is starting up again and even though some people have left, we have some new faces to get to know! Wednesday a couple of us went out for a ladies night out and it was great! Two new people for me to get to know and I feel like I have made two new life long friends. First trip to the ER

Yesterday was a day of firsts! First time to try to potty training and first trip to the ER. Here is how we ended up there..... He woke up feeling good and we had a nice start to potty training! He didn't eat a lot of breakfast but some days he does and others he doesn't so I didn't think much about it. When lunch time rolled around he still didn't eat. He then became very cranky and uninterested in the potty thing so I let my dad take him up for his nap. He normally goes down pretty easy but today he didn't. He said that his tummy hurt and couldn't get comfortable. He finally fell asleep but didn't stay asleep long. He moved all around and cried out a couple times then finally woke up. He was NOT himself. He cried and wanted to be held. Then all of a sudden he would be fine.
