Quick update....

I don't have time for a long post about the past week but I will give you a quick run down and then I PROMISE to update this evening! -School started for me last week- I am already feeling behind! -The little Monkey had his 1st BIRTHDAY BASH! -Our house turned into a toy store! -Mother's Day Out started (again) for my little man! Leaving with a guilty conscious

There is n nothing like telling someone (a complete stranger) that you are about to be done with breastfeeding (I am telling them because I needed to know if I could be on this diet while breastfeeding) and them saying “Why stop, why not go for at least 6 months?” Well because just maybe there is more to the story than me just saying, “Hey, I’m no longer going to breastfeed!” Yes, there is defiantly more to the story and anyone who has read my blog knows the story! Latching problems, breast shields, weight loss, taking over an hour to eat and then still hungry, low milk supply and mastitis twice! I will admit that even through all those challenges I still very much enjoyed the bonding experience and knowing that I was giving Wyatt the absolute best. Wyatt has been sleeping through the night for some time, and since then I have been getting up every four hours to pump to try to keep up my milk supply. One of his favorite words

"No, I don't wanna sing!" - when I have told him we will not sing before bed because he didn't listen. "No, I don't wanna read!"- when I have said that we will not be reading a book because he threw a fit. "No, I don't want cover!" - when I covered him up and kissed him goodnight "No, you no say no to me!"- when we tell him no to something he wants "No, I don't wanna play!" - when I told him that his friends are coming and he better take a good nap if he wants to play! He spent an hour last night in and out of time out. Crying and pleading with us to talk to him and let him out, to hug him and for us to be happy. Yes, he asks us if we are happy, when clearly he knows we are upset. If he knows that we aren't happy he tries to make us happy.
