WYATT TURNS 4

Our sweet, handsome boy turned 4. I honestly do not know where the time has gone. I blinked and he was blowing out 4 candles instead of 1!

I love parties, but I think that this may have been the last year to actually plan the party and keep it small, so we did just that! A family bowling party with only two of his close friends, the ones he tends to see the most. Maggie and Carter joined us for an exciting game of push the ball toward the pins and eat lots of yummy chocolate cake. My children both love bowling. They must get that from their Uncles! It was a wonderful, low key get together and he had a blast!

He then got to celebrate his birthday at school with cookies, at the lake with mimi and at Nana's house...oh to be 4!

As I sit here pumping in bed at 3:30 in the morning, I wonder how I got my little one to sleep all night long in his crib! I'm watching wiggle and move on the baby monitor and thank God that he can now sleep all night with no help! We all need friends

I remember almost a year ago when a good friend of mine invited me to a lunch group, Friday's at noon. At that time in my life I needed it! I needed to get out and meet new friends, other ladies with children about the same age, going through the same thing. This was a life saver for me. I am not a very outgoing person and it's hard to make friends when you don't have a full time job. Long story made short.... I made some GREAT friends in that group. As all good things to do though, things changed, people moved on and life became a little crazy for all of us. So the lunch group is starting up again and even though some people have left, we have some new faces to get to know! Wednesday a couple of us went out for a ladies night out and it was great! Two new people for me to get to know and I feel like I have made two new life long friends. First trip to the ER

Yesterday was a day of firsts! First time to try to potty training and first trip to the ER. Here is how we ended up there..... He woke up feeling good and we had a nice start to potty training! He didn't eat a lot of breakfast but some days he does and others he doesn't so I didn't think much about it. When lunch time rolled around he still didn't eat. He then became very cranky and uninterested in the potty thing so I let my dad take him up for his nap. He normally goes down pretty easy but today he didn't. He said that his tummy hurt and couldn't get comfortable. He finally fell asleep but didn't stay asleep long. He moved all around and cried out a couple times then finally woke up. He was NOT himself. He cried and wanted to be held. Then all of a sudden he would be fine.
