Our little swimmer

McKinley loves to swim!!! Let me just say that 15 months is NOT to soon to learn!

Quick Update

I have thought of a million different posts but every time I sit to type them something happens and I can't seem to get focused. So let me play catch up.... *McKinley is a walker! She woke up from her afternoon nap at my parents house and took off, she hasn't slowed down since. She looks like a little lady who has had a little to much to drink! I love watching them when they first learn to walk. *Wyatt is potty training. I woke up one Saturday morning and discovered that we were out of diapers for him, so we threw on the underwear and didn't turn back. It hasn't been that bad. I think he was ready this time. We had tried a few times before and it NEVER worked! He actually got it! Sure, we had a few accidents but he is now going like a champ! He is even waking up dry from naps and nighttime. They only thing he wont do, is poop in the potty! This is our current obstacle! We are taking any and all advice! He has gone three times on the potty, one for me and twice for K...

HR challenge

I've heard it and read it over and over again, spin classes burn ALOT of calories. I've seen heart rate monitors for friends read that they have burned 1,000 calories! I don't lie! So, I strapped on my heart rate monitor and wanted to see what I could burn. In a 40 class (I had to leave early) I burned around 250 calories! WHAT! I can do that with a 25 minute run. I was not pleased. The next class I really gave it my all, I did everything the instructor did and didn't back down, I look... 244 calories! Okay, now I'm a little upset. Today I challenged myself. I was determined to burn 300 calories. So I kept a good eye on my watch and kept my HR up. I found that following the class wasn't enough, I had to add tension and really turn it up. I had to keep my HR up and that was my goal. Not gonna lie, it was hard. Totally worth it though because at the end of the class..... 365 calories burned! Tomorrow my goal is 400! I don't care how many diet pills, diet b...

Day 12& HOME

Yes, finally finishing up my trip..... Day 12 Naples, Italy: This was a highlight for me. Instead of staying in Naples we took a ferry to the Isle of Capri and did a private boat tour of the island and even made it to Positano. I took a trip here when I was 17 and it brought back wonderful fun memories. I have been wanting to bring Todd here for a long time and he finally got to see it!!! Breathtaking! Day 13 th Flight home: I was actually excited to pack my bags and head to the airport. Okay, maybe a little sad to say goodbye to such a beautiful place but it was great to be going home to see my sweet babies! We missed them soooo much!  It was a once of a life time trip and we had the best time! I missed my babies so much but it was nice to have some time for just the two of us. I highly recommend this trip!

Day 10 & 11

Day 10 Mykonos, Greece A little rain didn’t keep us away from this beautiful village. We did sleep in and took out time getting off the boat. We had lunch on the boat with Nancy and Ken and then headed out. Todd and I were only going to stay for about an hour but we ended up staying close to 3 hours. At first all you see are the same little shops all selling the same things, a few restaurants but not to much to make you want to stay. I heard the beaches on Mykonos were stunning but because of the rain and cold weather we couldn’t experience those. We kept winding down the streets and kept finding the CUTEST little stores and restaurants. It was the cutest place. Day 11 Day at Sea I’m gonna be honest, I was so thrilled when I woke up to a cold and cloudy day. I spend my ENTIRE DAY in bed, enjoying room service and just resting. I got up to go to a brief fitness seminar thing, then took another late afternoon nap and then got ready for out formal night and dinner with the hot...
