31 week update

I am now 31 weeks pregnant and as much as I do love being pregnant.... I can't wait to meet Wyatt. For the past month he has enjoyed kicking my ribs on the right side and some days they are so sore its hard to move. I can feel him more throughout the day which I love except when I am trying to fall asleep and he decides that is the time he is going to kick and move.

Todd and I are trying to go the beach as much as we can before I can no longer travel and over the past month we have been to Kiawah twice to visit with Nancy and Morgan. We love going to visit and hanging out by the pool and taking the boat out. We did learn that Wyatt and I don't enjoy bumpy boat rides or being in the hot sun for to long.

We have also taken three of our four childbirth classes at University hospital and I just have to say I love them!!! I love that Todd and I have two and a half hours together of learning about our upcoming delivery and just being together with no other distractions. Todd has learned a lot from them and he has told me that he enjoys going. He likes to ask questions and participate which I LOVE!! I recommend the classes to anyone who is expecting!

We all need friends

I remember almost a year ago when a good friend of mine invited me to a lunch group, Friday's at noon. At that time in my life I needed it! I needed to get out and meet new friends, other ladies with children about the same age, going through the same thing. This was a life saver for me. I am not a very outgoing person and it's hard to make friends when you don't have a full time job. Long story made short.... I made some GREAT friends in that group. As all good things to do though, things changed, people moved on and life became a little crazy for all of us. So the lunch group is starting up again and even though some people have left, we have some new faces to get to know! Wednesday a couple of us went out for a ladies night out and it was great! Two new people for me to get to know and I feel like I have made two new life long friends. First trip to the ER

Yesterday was a day of firsts! First time to try to potty training and first trip to the ER. Here is how we ended up there..... He woke up feeling good and we had a nice start to potty training! He didn't eat a lot of breakfast but some days he does and others he doesn't so I didn't think much about it. When lunch time rolled around he still didn't eat. He then became very cranky and uninterested in the potty thing so I let my dad take him up for his nap. He normally goes down pretty easy but today he didn't. He said that his tummy hurt and couldn't get comfortable. He finally fell asleep but didn't stay asleep long. He moved all around and cried out a couple times then finally woke up. He was NOT himself. He cried and wanted to be held. Then all of a sudden he would be fine.
